It is really important you wash all fruits and vegetables before you hand them to your Rainbow Lorikeets. I recommend you use a commercially available fruit cleaner. Many favourite fruits of lorikeets - like apples - can carry enough pesticide on their skin to seriously endanger your Lorikeets. If you can access organic products, go organic.
