Unfortunately Rainbow Lorikeets are known to eat their own eggs. To avoid this behaviour make sure your Rainbow Lorikeets have access to a calcium supplement at all times. Also put a cuttlefish bone for extra calcium intake and your Lorikeets will stop eating their eggs and usually lay 2 eggs at a time.
