As you know the problem with wet mixes for Rainbow Lorikeets is that you cannot allow them to go off. If you use any commercial powder based mixes they will go bad within hours. Since some of us have to go to work it is almost impossible to leave your Rainbow Lorikeet with a wet mix in the morning. Therefore I make this very simple favourite of my lorikeets which (unless its really hot) is save for an 8 hour day.

Simply squeeze 2 oranges or use commercial orange juice. Stir in 2 spoons of honey and I add a dosage of commercially available vitamins. Stir well and place so no rainbow lorikeet droppings will end up in the wet mix.

You will still have to make sure you don't leave this mix with your Lorikeets overnight
