I feed my Rainbow Lorikeets a self made dry food mixture of readily commercially available components (which makes the whole lorikeet food a lot cheaper rather then buying ready mixes). Start with baby cereal, add rice flour, breadcrumbs, glucose powder, skim milk powder, semolina, pollen and then I usually ad another ingredient like crushed biscuits or powdered egg to bring some variety to the dry food of my lorikeets. For wet food I generally use the same mix as when I feed my lorikeets dry food but I mix the dry feed with warm water until it has a creamy consistency. You can also add a teaspoon of honey to your wet mixes to bring in an additional flavour or use orange juice instead of water to mix it up. Your Rainbow Lorikeets will love it.
