Rainbow Lorikeet Cages must be big

If you cannot provide an aviary at least 3m by 3m to your rainbow lorikeets - don't get any lorikeets. Rainbow Lorikeets need room to be active. They are not budgies and while there is no law it is not good for rainbow lorikeets to be locked into small cages.

In addition rainbow lorikeets are very messy birds - having them in small cages will lead to sanitary problems you will not have with other birds. Remember they need lots of wet food and they squirt their equally wet shit all over. An outdoor aviary will take care of the problems you would have keeping things clean for your Rainbow Lorikeets.
