Baby Lorri

I have a baby rainbow lorri that i am caring for, he's doing very well but spends alot of time crying and also loves to hide... he will crawl under anything possible and bury his head, almost as if he is scared of the whole world... is this normal and will he grow out of it or is something wrong.
